British Cars, the Pre-War Years
BritBox would like to thank a special new friend, Gillian Eyre of Shropshire, England, for contributing the images on this page. In Gill's own words:
"We have Vintage vehicles that are pre 1930, a couple of AJS's which were built in Wolverhampton where my husband comes from. The AJS company really is known for its motorcycles but made cars for a couple of years - 1929/30.
We also have 3 Jowetts which date from 1924 to 1930, the most recent purchase is a truck which is in need of restoration!
Fortunately our son Thomas is interested in the cars and is an engineer so helps rebuilt them."
